Following a threat of legal action against this podcast unfortunatly our OLYMPIC coverage has been cut.

At this time it doesnt look like we will be able to bring our unique take on the games direct to your homes and there is also a doubt over the future of the podcast as a whole.

We have been advised not to comment on the situation other than we are saddened that things have come to this.

The services have changed dramatically since those days and even went through a difficult name change in 1999.

Now here's the deal with this weeks effort - its very long, nearly 35 minutes. So in podcast terms this is an epic. Not on the same level as Doctor Zhivago but you know what I mean.

I was faced with either splitting it into two and doing a QT.

Therefore calling into question my artistic crediblity but allowing the listener the relief of only having to concentrate for half the time.
